UCLA:: Champions Made Here, On and Off the Field

Bumped. GO BRUINS.-N

While we are absolutely giddy regarding our magnificent sports programs that include 100 national championships, three consecutive Final Fours and a buzz on Spaulding Field, UCLA is still a university that values its academics. It really is a university who's students and student-athletes continue to make us proud on a daily basis.

While some places wait around for players to be cleared by the NCAA's lax academic standards, UCLA expects excellence in the classroom and on the field of play. This doesn't end once a player goes pro either as evidenced by this Bruins great

UCLA coach Ben Howland said Arron Afflalo, who plays for the Detroit Pistons, is returning to campus in the summer to take classes and continue working toward his degree.

This is the reason we not only root for the Bruins, but truly love the university. The class acts and great people that enter UCLA and leave Westwood are second to none. While AA works to his degree, DC is set to graduate in three years and Aboya is set to do the same. UCLA, Champions Made Here, On and Off the Field.
