Morgan is freed from his LSU commitment!
So according to Jeff Goodman from Fox Sports, J'Mison Morgan will be freed of his commitment to LSU and should land at UCLA. This should complete our #1 recruiting class by helping to fill the void that K-Love will leave in the middle. Is it basketball season yet?
Sources told FOXSports.com that new LSU coach Trent Johnson plans to honor signee J'Mison Morgan's request and will release the senior big man from his letter-of-intent on Tuesday afternoon, effectively paving the way for Morgan to land at UCLA.

4th Final 4 anyone?
This season just got a lot more exciting. Hands down Howland’s best recruiting class ever. Just wow. Just goes to show we don’t rebuild here at UCLA, we reload. Every year Howland has been here his teams have just gotten stronger! In Howland we trust for sure!

Keep one thing in mind
He can’t sign another LOI, so we should probably hold off on the celebrations until we hear something rather definitive come from Morgan himself about playing for UCLA.

Darn you Tydides!
...always the voice of reason! But true, we have mainly heard from his mother and brother. I’m looking forward to hearing the kid talk for a change.

As long as we're counting chickens...
Did you realize that there will be no games in California during the 2009 NCAA tournament? If we were a top seed in the West, we’d go to Portland or Boise, and then Phoenix before heading off to Detroit for the Final Four.

And since we're on the subject of tournament sites...
There has not been a final four closer to UCLA than San Antonio since 1995! I know we didn’t have a dome big enough to host one since the Kingdome was torn down, but I’m holding my breath for the new stadium in Glendale, AZ. I’m getting awfully sick of seeing regionals and final fours rotate through cities like Indianapolis almost every other year!

University of Phoenix Stadium
will get a Final Four soon. Indianapolis, as home to the NCAA, gets the Final Four every five years. Unfortunately, the West Regional is also at University of Phoenix Stadium next year which will have the court at midfield.

Sorry, can't agree at all.
My interest was piqued when you said “it’s official,” but then the reference to the officialness was to Doh!. His reputation for accuracy is not very good in my book.
