Another trOJan Busted for DUI
The Seattle Times is reporting that trOJan alum Lofa Tatupu was busted early Saturday morning for DUI. He was pulled over for doing 50 in a 35 mph zone and was found to have a blood alcohol level of .15, nearly twice the legal limit in Washington.
So, in less than a year, there have been two high-profile trOJan alums who have been busted for DUI (LenDale White is the other). These are the times where I thank the powers that be for making me a Bruin.
This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of BruinsNation's (BN) editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of BN's editors.

be careful here...
Yes, $C does seem to have a disproportionate number of “student-athletes” and alumni that encounter trouble with the law. But don’t kid yourself into thinking that we are immune to this. Whether it’s an assistant coach with questionable involvement in a burglary charge, or a football player assaulting another student at a party, or a group of players obtaining handicapped license plate placards, we’ve had our share of embarrassing incidents.
Besides, let’s not be so quick to point out the $C troubles, because karma is a funny thing.

Oh, come on.
If karma worked, if the yin and yang ever balanced, then justsc would be swallowed into the bowels of the earth never to be seen again. They are the empire of evil. They must have their high priests grinding those incantations to keep justice from ever coming to roost over at that cesspool.

Nobody is saying we are immune to this, just that UCLA, in general, operates with a much different moral standard than SUC. This is evidenced by 1) the disproportionate number of issues at SUC, as you mentioned, and 2) the fact that there are so few major incidents with UCLA’s athletes that people usually resort to going back 10 years to mention the license plate issue.

Not to mention
that we actually dealt with those transgressions and sanctions were imposed.
