EARLY mock draft...
http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/draft2008/columns/story?columnist=ford_chad&page=MockDraft-080520
waaaaayyyyyy too early, i know. still, with the lottery order being set today, it gives kind of a clearer picture where our former bruins will end up in the next level. chad ford has westbrook going 7 to the clippers which i think will be awesome for us who live in la. besides, i think he'll be a great fit with livingston's career shaky at best and can play the 2 if livingston turns out ok and put thornton at the 3.
they have love going to the bobcats to play for former ucla coach larry brown. im not sure that's a great fit for love. they already have okafor, mohammed, sean may (who has a similar body to love)...but if they dont grab him, i cannot see the nets passing him up...i think indy (who are at 11) or the nets would be better fits.
just some thoughts. but hey, maybe the lakers can pull a rabbit out of the hat and grab one of them...hey, it's just a thought....

no shock at all to see RW that high. he has a chance to be a great NBA player in the next few years. and while the clippers do stink, it will give him a chance to stay in LA and get a chance to play soon. decent fit (still want to see him w/ BD in GS though).
terrible, terrible news if you’re kevin love. brown may be a great coach, but i wouldn’t want to play for him. all along i’ve felt that RW was the only real NBA talent on the Bruins. Best of luck to KL, but I can’t say I see great things ahead.
this is the problem with being a good college player these days. you go to a terrible NBA team. if you’re borderline first round, you go to the Lakers and end up in the conference finals.

Be nice, guys
Sure, the NBA is not a very entertaining thing to watch, but must you mock it? And the guys getting drafted take it seriously, so the draft should not be mocked either. Come on, be nice.

Hmmm
There haven’t been any workouts yet, have there? I assume KL has moved up slightly due to the article posted recently regarding his improved conditioning, but I’m a bit shocked to see RW at number 7. Anyone have a clue as to why he’s moving up the draft board?

dont have any concrete evidence...
but i have to assume, scouts love what we loved about him. he’s tough, fast, athletic, exciting, can play both guard positions…and as unbiased as i can be, there’s no other guy under him i would pick over him. quite frankly, i find bayless incredibly overrated…

Bobcats have been looking
for a reason to dump May-he’s sat more games than he’s played and that trend looks like it will continue.
If Westbrook falls to #9 the Bobcats would most def. scoop him up. Keep in mind that Charlotte has a former Bruin as an assistant coach now as well (although the name escapes me).
Funny that you mention Charlotte has big men in Okafor, Mohammed, and May but you left out Ryan Hollins, wooops!

Clippers
I think the clippers might take RW
they need some good guards and in OJ and Danilo Gallinari are off the board which is excpected they probably pick him
UCLA FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT
