Women's Golf Vying for Title #103
Our #3 seeded women golfers find themselves tied atop the leaderboard at the NCAA Women's Golf Championships in Albuquerque with one day of play remaining. The top two teams have pulled 12 strokes clear (+16 to +28) of the next closest contenders. What makes this even more compelling is that we just happen to be tied with .... yep, you guessed it .... a certain #2 seeded crosstown rival of ours.
Anybody who knows more than I how the team scoring works, please feel free to take over here, because I have yet to figure it out.
For invidual honors, our Tiffany Joh is tied for second with 'SC's Belen Mozo one stroke behind ASU's Azahara Munoz.
You can follow the action here.
Let's hope for a banner day tomorrow for our Lady Bruins!

Team scoring in NCAA golf...
They take the top four scores of the round from your team of five to determine your team score.
Let’s bring home #103 ladies!
Go Bruins!
Our last tee time is at 2:00 PM MST
There are other ladies teeing off after that, but they are not in contention. It’s us vs. $C for team title. We should know by 6:30 MST if we have our collective 103rd NC.
What the heck?
Why does it say we are three strokes back now? Did someone just finish up yesterday’s round???
We lost some ground....
A couple players didn’t finish last night and played their final 3rd round holes this morning. We are 3 shots back of the Trojies.
