Bumped. GO BRUINS. - N
Nestor covered the impact of Bruins in the NBA. As to emphasize the point, Jordan Farmar has broke out of his playoff funk during the first two games of the NBA Western Conference Finals. During the 30-point whipping of the Spurs last night in game two, Farmar came up with a great (*gasp*) defensive play, blocking Ime Udoka's layup: Jordan went on to score a career playoff high 14 points, looking confident and sharp: But perhaps the best news of the night was the return of Trevor Ariza, recovering from a broken foot. He played nearly all of the last six minutes of the game and scored two points on his one shot attempt and grabbed two rebounds:
Nice to see our Bruin family doing well. Let's hope these Bruins move on to a familiar place we Bruin fans are used to: a Championship game.

Sweet
It was so awesome to read this in today’s Washington Post during my morning coffee:
Five players scored in double figures for the Lakers, including reserve point guard Jordan Farmar, who had 14 points and energized the crowd with an exciting blocked shot in which he tracked down the Spurs’ Ime Udoke for what should have been an easy layup. “I was able to give us a play to give us some momentum. When I get the chance, I have [the hops],” Farmar said.Farmar hit a three-pointer from the top of the key that gave the Lakers an 81-60 lead with 7 minutes 44 seconds remaining and Spurs Coach Gregg Popovich pulled his starters from the game and started preparing for the flight back home.
We all remember the comments Jordan’s Dad made during the pre draft days that are similar to those of Love’s Dad from recent days. In the end it hasn’t mattered all that much.
Superstar prep pointguards like Holiday, Anderson et al continue to come into UCLA, while Jordan continues to embellish Ben Ball brand at the next level.
Win-win for everyone in the extended Bruin Nation.
GO BRUINS.

Once Jordan went pro
he went to the NBA pre-draft camp and had the best vertical leap of anyone at the camp. Then he joined the Lakers and I’ve seen how athletic he really is. I wondered why I didn’t see this from him as a Bruin and I remembered that he played with bad ankles for almost 2 whole seasons. It’s amazing that he was so good as a Bruins with bad ankles, but when you’re as smart as he is, you find ways to produce.

Just prior to the block
Farmar took a tip off a rebound by Gasol and went length of the court for a sweet lay-up.
