UCLA football coach Rick Neuheisel can earn up to $1.75 million a year in salary and bonuses under the terms of a five-year contract that was finalized last week, the Los Angeles Times reported.

By comparison, KD made in the range of $850,000 + some in bonuses. Carroll makes in the $2-3 million range. So this is a pretty good chunk of change for CRN.

Few More Points

I deleted a post like this yesterday that had to with the hoopsworld article re. UCLA’s influence in the NBA. It was a post by some one who linked the article and then added a sentence … and finished off the post with … “more words more words more words more words” ... to fill the 75 word requirement.

I deleted it. And did a stand alone post on it on the home page.

Again that’s a post that could have been put in the “FanShot” section if the poster was too lazy to write it up in 75 words.

Please consider the fact that there are thousands of people who to BN to read many contributors who write up great posts. This section is hopping so much that lot of great posts are getting bumped down fast not giving them their its due exposure.

I don’t mean to single you jj – but this is directed towards everyone.

Let’s all work as a community to make this place better and enjoyable for everyone.

When you see great posts – use the “recommend button”

Once a post gets up in the “recommended” section and stays there too long you can do your part to bump them down by hitting the “unrecommend” button.

Tag your posts so that it makes it easier to refer back to the content in the future ones.

This has become a powerful community over the years. Let’s make this even more polished so that it reflects the off line version of the Greatest University in America.

Again I didn’t mean to come down on you specifically. Yeah, this new set up has so much going on I understand that it will take some time for folks to get used to. Lot of you guys have already picked it up.

You can always click on “Welcome Guide” right underneath the BN logo (top left) to learn about how different sections are meant to work.
