We use the word - "Warrior" - a lot around this "Nation."
If you get a chance today please take a moment to reflect and pay tribute to the warriors who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service of the Greatest Nation.
GO BRUINS.

Happy Memorial Day everyone.
I think it is fitting considering the moderators’ Homeric names that I spent my memorial day looking at Heinrich Schliemann’s tomb in Athens, Greece.
Go Bruins!

Thanks for posting this N
We should never lose sight of those who have paid the ultimate price to protect the USA.
And for the warriors out there that may be reading this right now, THANK YOU and come back safe.
Memorial Day rememberance
As a combat veteran of Vietnam I appreciate what this country means to me, and the phrase “freedom isn’t free” is as true today as it was in the beginning of the country.

Bill, Thank you for your service to this country
And sincerest thanks to all of those who serve and have served to pay the cost of our freedom.
Thank you,
To Nestor, for that photo and for the poignant words.
And more importantly, to all the servicemen and women who done so much for so many. You have our deepest appreciation and admiration.

Remembering (and Teaching)
I took my daughter with me to Forest Lawn to leave some flags and flowers at my grandparents’ graves. One set is in the vets’ section and I’d like to offer kudos to the Girl Scouts who were there setting up flags.
