After the third round of the 2008 NCAA Men's Golf Championships being hosted by Purdue University, the #3-ranked UCLA men's golf team has a three stroke lead at 888 (+24) over both Clemson and #1-ranked SUC and a five stroke lead over Furd going into tomorrow's final round. The current leader board can be seen here.
UCLA is being led by Kevin Chappell, who is leading the entire field by four strokes (-6) over the nearest competitor, Clemson's Kyle Stanley and Washington's Nick Taylor (each at -2). Kevin is the fourth ranked player in the country this year, and it would be great to see him win the individual NCAA title while leading the bruins to NCAA Title #103! The UCLA women's team finished second behind SUC so these guys have added motivation to get this done. GO BRUINS!!!
