Two Former Bruins lead Lightning to Victory

The L.A. Lightning have two former Bruins playing on their current roster.  Toby Bailey and Billy Knight recently had big games.  From the Ventura County Star :

Former UCLA star Toby Bailey tallied 14 of his season-high 30 points in the fourth quarter Friday night as the L.A. Lightning pulled away for a 135-120 victory over the Windy City Soldiers at Cal Lutheran.

It was the fifth straight International Basketball League win for L.A., which outshot the visitors from Chicago 59 to 41.2 percent. The Lightning (5-6) led 66-52 at intermission before the Soldiers (7-11) stormed back to pull within one, 95-94, early in the final period.

Billy Knight ignited a 14-3 run with a baseline jumper and Fred Vinson capped it with back-to-back treys, putting the Lightning up 109-97 with 7:55 to play.

Great to see these guys are playing locally.  For team and ticket info check out the LA Lightning's official site

When I think of these two players, each one brings a distinct memory to mind.  Enjoy...

GO BRUINS!!!
