Question about the article – I don’t understand why Wazzou would get into more trouble if the coach kicks someone off the team who deserves to be kicked off. Why do they lose a scholarship?

Due to the NCAA’s academic standards, it could cost them a scholarship (if he kicks someone off the team for bad conduct).
Hmmm. Seems sort of backwards to me.
