In Oklahoma City ?????'s Day 4 Summer League game against the Miami Heat, Russell Westbrook torched Mario Chalmers for 19 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals...in just 24 minutes of play! A NBA scout considers him the best player in the Summer League, of which only plays young players in their first two years as well as undrafted rookies, outside of Kevin Durant himself.

The world will see what we already know
And that is RW is a wonderful kid with amazing talent. Although character issues are becoming more of a concern in sports, Ben Ball Warriors will have no problems shining above the rest. I love when RW said:
To me, being the No. 4 pick means nothing because I’m starting all over again trying to show what I can do.
We knew the whole “No. 4 pick” wasn’t going to get to his head. His maturity and his humbleness will benefit OKC tremendously in its rebuilding effort; it definitely has the right pieces to do some damage in the future.

BTW
That stat line in just 24 minutes is absolutely disgusting especially considering the team scored 76 points total.
Looking at the box score, RW and Jeff Green practically had the same stat line with Russ having a better fg% in less time, which shows his potential as only a rookie who hasn’t even learned the system yet. I can guarantee you Russ will be working on his FTs because he must’ve had an off game going 4/10.
