What a great day that was

I was a TA in the band that year. When the clock hit 0:00 at the end of the game I started to cry. It may have been the single greatest day of my life.

So that trumpet performance was before the 13-9 game??? OF COURSE I was there and I am always in my seat by that time, so I must have forgotten. My memory is going!

I didn’t make the association either, and I was on the field performing. I only realized it was the same day when drumfool said he cried at the end, because I did too (great 5th year senior moment). The pre-game show was definitely not the highlight of that day, so I think we are excused for forgetting.

I will never forget not being able to watch that game because I had a performance in Royce that night. We were all huddled around a gamecast backstage cheering our brains out though.
