The Comeback

If you are looking to watch something on TV (Arena Football on WWL is not cutting it for me) while getting ready to head out for a Saturday night, turn on FSN. Currently this game is being broadcast on Fox Sports West.

As I am publishing this post while watching the replay the Trojans are up 31-14 in the second quarter. We have this guy playing QB for us:

IIRC that season Bruins finished the season with just 5 wins. But it was that game which I believe was instrumental in setting up the mindset of the nucleus of a team, which ripped off 20 straight wins.

this guy was one of my childhood sports heroes. on an side note, i miss that style of lettering for the numbers on the football jerseys.

I love the block numbering...

...but that’s just a personal preference of mine.

As long as the uniform is perfect shade of blue and gold, that’s good enough for me.

If it's all the same to you..

..I preferred the “powder-keg-blue-and-dirt-and-blood-covered jerseys” with the white script numerals al la this classic shot of Bob Stiles being dragged off the field in the ‘66 RB.

Great Show

Thanks for the post, post game highlight. What a great effort. It would be great to see another lefty quarterback lead us to victory this December 6th. Really enjoyed the clip. Played it three times.
