This is a wonderful clip. Watching it, it’s difficult to imagine maintaining animosity towards him when he is so genuine in owning up to past mistakes while also focusing on the future. His expectations for UCLA football are inspiring, as is his love for our great university. CRN is clearly a kindred spirit and I hope he turns out to be the best and most successful football coach UCLA has ever had. His enthusiasm is certainly contagious and can’t help but rub off on his coaches and players. Go Rick! Go Bruins!

How can this guy not get you excited about the program?

I hear him and I’m convinced we’re going to go 12-0 and win the national title every season. I realize that’s not possible, but each time I hear him speak I start wishing it was September 1.

The challenge for us (and him) will be to keep up that enthusiasm as the setbacks come. We seem to have prepared ourselves—there’s been lots of references to CBH’s first season—and I hope we can all hang in there.

For this season and the CRN era to begin. I just have such a good feeling that great things are going to happen in time with him at the helm.

CRN's Past? What Past?!

I’ve been waiting nearly two decades since I set foot on campus for a revival in the football program. Folks, REVIVAL IS HERE! Let’s support our team and our Neu Coach, through thick and thin (ahem, even if we end up 3-9 his first season). He’s got the vision, the leadership, and support staff to take this program to a level we have not seen before. Can I get a witness in this house?
