It’s great to have national media noticing our football program. That hasn’t happened (in a good way) since UCLA throttled Washington in 2001 (Foster’s 300-yard game, give or take) to go to 5-0.

Even in 2005, when we were undefeated, the national media correctly surmised that we were the weakest of the undefeated teams, to the point that we almost had to apologize for being undefeated but not worthy of the distinction.
