Got this email today from an alum of the Bruin lacrosse team:
"Keep up the good work. My friends and I are addicted to the site and can't wait for Sept. 1!
Touching on the home uniforms saga for the Crosstown Rivalry, the two lacrosse teams have been wearing their colors for the end of the regular season showdown since 2007. We too had to appeal to our conference and officials association, but the okay was given in weeks. For your viewing pleasure here is a ... picture from the 2008 contest @ Southern Cal. I think you'll like it."

No white jerseys? Which team is which? The similiarity of those uniforms is confusing me!
Seriously, we have to get the FB rule changed with the NCAA. Hopefully, the legislation that is being submitting this winter will make it happen.
How awesome is that pic?? The colors pop right off the screen! Here’s to praying that this becomes a reality in FB.
Two other points:
One, what is up with SUC’s Michigan-esque Lacrosse helmets?
Two, I love the simplicity of the numbers on the UCLA Lacrosse jersey. Gold numerals with while outline. Clean, classic, look. Muuuuuuuch better than the FB numerals, which have both gold and dark blue outlines.
Right
I helped my friend Angel get the women’s team to be a funded sport, but I don’t think the men’s team ever got there. Back then, those guys drank more than they played! :)
