USC QB Mark Sanchez Dislocates Patella
Schadenfreude indeed.
Starting quarterback Mark Sanchez injured his left knee during warm-ups at the start of USC’s third training-camp practice today.
Furthermore,
Onlookers said Sanchez was throwing the ball to teammate Clay Matthews, hopped after completing the toss, landed awkwardly on his foot and twisted his knee.
“He was all by himself,” USC coach Pete Carroll said. “It was a silly thing that happened.”
I don't wish harm on this kid and I hope he recovers soon. Furthermore, I don't think that the Southern Cal football team is in much jeopardy because Mitch Mustain, the sophomore transfer QB, will be able to jump right in. Like I said, personally, I hope this kid gets well soon.

Bummer
It is never cool to see kids going down with this kind of fluke injury. We have had our share of those over the years. Hope he gets healthy and recovers fully.
GO BRUINS.

I hope he makes a full and speedy recovery
I may not like the Trojans, but I never want to see any players injured.

I wish him well.
I saw nearly every single one of his games in high school and he was one hell of a QB. Hopefully he’ll be healthy to play during the season.

Knee injuries suck
I’ve dealt with patellar issues for a long time, and it’s no damn fun. I never want to see anybody go down with an injury. I want to beat usc, but at full strength, so there are no excuses.

I hope he's all right...
...but perhaps the tide of bad luck with injuries is shifting…heaven knows we’ve had our share!

Even with his injury
USC is so loaded because of their recruiting that they can afford to have a few injuries. Sanchez goes down and Mustain is there to pick up where he left off. There won’t be a significant drop in performance. Pete Carroll breeds competition in his practices and Mustain has a lot to prove. USC is the deepest team in the country. And I don’t care if they are at full strength when we play them or not…a win is a win! Injuries are a part of the game. Every program deals with them.
