... and Craft settles down (to put it mildly).

Let's Go.

GO BRUINS.

3 and out...

At least Craft didn’t force a throw, and gained a couple yards

by bruinhoo on Sep 1, 2008 7:10 PM PDT   0 recs

At least he made a good decision

By taking off with it and not forcing it in there again.

by norcald503 on Sep 1, 2008 7:11 PM PDT   0 recs

Craft looked a bit better..

…but you got to put the ball in a place for your WR to make the play. Throwing behind a guy like Johnson on a quick slant isn’t going to work. Get the ball to him in stride and he can make something happen.

by norcald503 on Sep 1, 2008 7:12 PM PDT   0 recs

What I've noticed

Is that since Paulsen went down, we haven’t looked at the TE again (except for when Craft tried to force a pass to Moya, which they took back for that damn TD).

by norcald503 on Sep 1, 2008 7:14 PM PDT   0 recs

BTW

not sure about that. could be refs from another conf. but probably not Pac-10 refs.

by Nestor on Sep 1, 2008 7:16 PM PDT to parent up   0 recs

There we go...

…get it going big man.

by norcald503 on Sep 1, 2008 7:15 PM PDT   0 recs

Wish Davis was here...

…with his athleticism, he might have made the INT that Bosworth just missed.

Oh well.

by norcald503 on Sep 1, 2008 7:16 PM PDT   0 recs

Way too much time

Got to bring the pressure. Don’t know why Walker is going away from it, but we had Crompton on his heels the whole first half.

by norcald503 on Sep 1, 2008 7:17 PM PDT   0 recs

wow

Rahim Moore!!!

WHAT A HUGE BREAK.

by Nestor on Sep 1, 2008 7:17 PM PDT   0 recs

Yeah!

Step it up KC and don’t do anything dumb.

by bruinchick on Sep 1, 2008 7:17 PM PDT   0 recs

Fuuumble...

big break

by bruinhoo on Sep 1, 2008 7:18 PM PDT   0 recs

Screen pass...

…let someone create something.

by norcald503 on Sep 1, 2008 7:18 PM PDT   0 recs

THERE IT IS!!

Now…

LET’S GO!!

Love My Bruins

by Bruingirl83 on Sep 1, 2008 7:18 PM PDT   0 recs

Craft damn near had INT #5

Good awareness by Austin. Whew.

by norcald503 on Sep 1, 2008 7:19 PM PDT   0 recs

First down

Ugly ugly ugly, but it’s there

by bruinchick on Sep 1, 2008 7:19 PM PDT   0 recs

If we can sustain a drive...

…wear down the defense a little, maybe we can create a big hole for the running game.

by norcald503 on Sep 1, 2008 7:20 PM PDT   0 recs

Austin is a stud

Took a hell of a hit to hold on to the ball.

by norcald503 on Sep 1, 2008 7:20 PM PDT   0 recs

Talk about poise

Austin just showed some mojo there

by bruinchick on Sep 1, 2008 7:20 PM PDT   0 recs

BIG FIRST DOWN!

Let’s Go!!

Love My Bruins

by Bruingirl83 on Sep 1, 2008 7:20 PM PDT   0 recs

Draw play ...

Man .. haven’t seen in that in a long time.

by Nestor on Sep 1, 2008 7:21 PM PDT   0 recs

ymmv, but...

My own experience having had a minor foot fracture a few years back was crutches for a week, cast for about a month.

by bruinhoo on Sep 1, 2008 7:32 PM PDT to parent up   0 recs

Paulsen broke his foot.

Oh wow that sucks…

by bruinchick on Sep 1, 2008 7:21 PM PDT   0 recs

Injury update

Bell: ankle injury – out for game
Paulsen: fractured right foot
Everett: still no update

by norcald503 on Sep 1, 2008 7:21 PM PDT   0 recs

Everett has dislocated toe

that’s what I heard in the first half.

by Nestor on Sep 1, 2008 7:22 PM PDT to parent up   0 recs

Oh I meant

No update since that first half update. He was on the sideline in pads standing on his own; I was wondering if they would shut him down or if he would come back.

As to that, still no update, although I suspect he’s done for the game.

by norcald503 on Sep 1, 2008 7:24 PM PDT to parent up   0 recs

First holding penalty?

Under KD, at this time, we’d have at least 5 holding penalties.

by norcald503 on Sep 1, 2008 7:22 PM PDT   0 recs

It's all good

We had a bit of a drive, gave the defense a bit of rest, and pushed them back up the field.

by norcald503 on Sep 1, 2008 7:23 PM PDT   0 recs

Don't know if it's all good

but it’s a hell of a lot better than an INT

by impaulv on Sep 1, 2008 7:23 PM PDT to parent up   0 recs

Exactly

Given the first half, I’ll take it. We are still down by only 7 and our defense got some much needed rest.

We just need to keep it close going into the fourth quarter.

by norcald503 on Sep 1, 2008 7:25 PM PDT to parent up   0 recs

agreed

but we also need to make their D work some more. Make em run!

by impaulv on Sep 1, 2008 7:26 PM PDT to parent up   0 recs

Beautiful

Defense forced a fumble in the red zone, offense got a bit of a drive, defense got a rest, and Tenn. starts at their own 20. If the defense can pick up another stop, we’ll be in solid field position.

by norcald503 on Sep 1, 2008 7:23 PM PDT   0 recs

I can't believe

they’d run that Citi commercial during a football game.

by bruinchick on Sep 1, 2008 7:26 PM PDT   0 recs

The Apple Pan

I’m homesick. But I think he should have gone to Tito’s Tacos. I miss them bad.

by bruinbabe2000 on Sep 1, 2008 7:27 PM PDT   0 recs

I'm partial to Mongol's on Gayley

But hey, I just love greasy Mongolian BBQ, what can I say? ;)

by norcald503 on Sep 1, 2008 7:28 PM PDT to parent up   0 recs

Whew!

For a minute, it looked like Norris got smoked bad.

Got to get more pressure on Crompton. Cannot give him that kind of time.

by norcald503 on Sep 1, 2008 7:27 PM PDT   0 recs

that was solid coverage by norris, cant really ask him to do much better than that with no help over top – just a perfect pass

by jtthirtyfour on Sep 1, 2008 7:31 PM PDT to parent up   0 recs

Phew

Dodged a bullet there … unfortunately they have discovered Norris.

by Nestor on Sep 1, 2008 7:28 PM PDT   0 recs

Norris won't be a liability...

…if we can get more pressure on Crompton. But to do so, our defense needs some rest and for that to happen, Craft needs to sustain a drive, even if just for a FG.

Forbath is a stud. We got to play field position and pick up points when our offense sputters.

by norcald503 on Sep 1, 2008 7:29 PM PDT to parent up   0 recs

Yeap

We need to get some points in this drive … BADLY.

by Nestor on Sep 1, 2008 7:30 PM PDT to parent up   0 recs

Which, I think, means...

…no more forcing the long throw and dumping it off on a check down and taking 3 or 4 yards and helping set up a FG.

by norcald503 on Sep 1, 2008 7:30 PM PDT to parent up   0 recs

Good Hold By Our "D"

Gotta admit that was a beautiful throw by Crompton; I though his receiver had it until I saw the replay.

Los Angeles Rams and the UCLA Bruins!!!!!

by Minnesota Bruinfan on Sep 1, 2008 7:29 PM PDT   0 recs

Hm...

Methinks the networks have discovered that chicks dig football.
That Levis commercial was NOT for guys.

by bruinchick on Sep 1, 2008 7:30 PM PDT   0 recs

Why does it look so dark at the Rose Bowl?

Plenty of light here in Sacramento. Last time I checked, we’re in the same state.

by norcald503 on Sep 1, 2008 7:31 PM PDT   0 recs

You're still a ways north

Pretty dark out my window

by bruinchick on Sep 1, 2008 7:32 PM PDT to parent up   0 recs

You're further north

It gets darker later the further north you go until later this month.

by bruinbabe2000 on Sep 1, 2008 7:32 PM PDT to parent up   0 recs

North and west

Always gets dark earlier in LA than NorCal.
