Lovin' it
I hope this raises the UCLA profile among potential recruits. He was the dominant big man in the tournament, and a very good citizen throughout.
He's looking Really Slick
In that beautiful Blue and Gold Jersey, Looks like i’ll be picking up a copy. Great post
Wowwwwwwwwww
Beautiful cover. Normally I acquire my Xbox 360 games through non-retail sources, but I may just have to buy this one.
I've always bought March Madness...
..but this year, I’ll be pre-ordering. Just for the cover.
GO BRUINS!
Maybe...
This is just another reason to come to UCLA! I love it and like evryone above will be buying this game a lot sooner than normal. I normally never purchase new games for the xbox 360 but It’s worth it when one our own is on the cover. It just keeps getting better!
Go Bruins!
DBalter
It's a shame
that Howland doesn’t play an uptempo style that will attract recruits and get players noticed.

Or produce NBA Picks
Why would you want to go as low as 4th or 5th overall in the draft when you could go to The Standard out in the desert?
KABOOM
That is just one terrific cover. Damn, I’m so proud of KL..he’s really represented our beloved school so well. (The National Champions, on the other hand, had two players sent home from rookie camp in disgrace for smoking pot and entertaining women in their hotel room.)
Kevin might have been a “One,” but he’s clearly not “Done.” Way to go, Kevin.
Love My Bruins
Too bad
Love isn’t actually wearing a Bruin jersey in 2009. As much as I hate to say it, should’ve put Hansbrough on the cover.
They can't out a current NCAA player on the cover
per NCAA rules.

yep
that’s also why all college video games never have the current players’ names, just their numbers. i’d always have to go on ebay and to buy a roster with names.
Hansborough would’ve been on the cover, had he left UNC, because he won the player of the year accolades. Since he stayed, however, we’re lucky enough to see one of our own grace the cover.
I was definitely going to pick this game up even before this, but now… I just may have to preorder it!

If you have online for your system
you can go online and download the rosters for free.

thanks for the tip
unfortunately i’m having a hard time setting up my internet on my ps3. admittedly, i don’t spend too much time trying to figure it out because I tend to just jump right into the game playing. At least I only paid $1 for the roster.

Being outed
by the NCAA on the cover would be a horrible way for the folks to find out!
But seriously folks, I’ve never liked playing bball video games, but I’ve had the NCAA Bball series Pauley Pavilion as my XBOX 360 dashboard theme since I purchased the system (JJ Reddick on the cover in 2006 I believe). However, if Gus Johnson is one of the voices in this game (highly doubtful since this is an ESPN featured game), it would definitely sway me into picking this up.
According to the release
"Dick Vitale, Brad Nessler, and Erin Andrews providing the commentary. " Won’t be picking this one up but awesome for Kevin Love and UCLA!
Erin Andrews on the commentary? This is a MUST buy..

Nice Clip of Her...
talking about her involvement w/ NCAA March Madness 08. Coincidentally, there’s video game capture starting at the 0:48 mark showing Cal playing UCLA at Pauley.

so no Nessler
is on both NCAA games

I Wonder If...
non-UCLA fans will notice the different colored ‘C’ on the jersey and think something got screwed up in the printing process…
Which brings a question to mind: is the ‘C’ reverting back to the same color as the rest of the letters this season?
I looked at the clothing cataloge a few weeks ago...
There was only 1 shirt in there that had a different colored “C”. So, they’ve basically gotten rid of it.
Of course, I had to buy it before it went away for good.

yeah
and if i remember correctly, the UCLA in the end zone at the tennessee game was back to the original.

Not to mention
The big contrasted “C” in UCLA on the uniform.
Best sports video game cover ever. Maybe I’m biased but it is really striking.
Yours Truly

Had this game
But I only saw the UCLA promo come up a couple times in over 300 games that I played. It seemed like it was always Purdue or Notre Dame or some other crappy Midwestern team that appeared.
What's a shame...
is EA’s strong relationship with $C. Things have fallen apart with us in recent years (i.e. lack of recruiting fairs, video game tournament stops, overall interest)…then again, $C does have a video game programming and design program. Ugh.
GO BRUINS!
we dont have one?
i would think one of the most notable schools in the state of california would have one?
