I have designed this t-shirt and was wondering if anyone would be interested in purchasing at a $10 price point. They have not yet been manufactured, mind you, I just wanted to gauge interest in the community before sending this in. If anyone has some design suggestions feel free to let me know. I accept any constructive criticism as well!

I like it!
I LOVE the Old School reference and for $10, I’d definitely buy it.
GO BRUINS!

Woo
I would buy 1 for $10 bucks, but i don’t really like the color of the shirt. Maybe if they had a royal blue or something closer to a UCLA color.

Misses for me
No one likes a good tee better than me. I owe a ton expressing my love for the bruins. (“Howland is my Homeboy”, M’Bute kicks Bute… to name a few…)
But this one doesn’t do it for me. The wording isn’t catchey enough.
How about something like “In with the Nue” or “Nue in LA” but the current wording isn’t good enough.
Just my opinion. I wouldn’t buy.
Sorry.
Maybe put it out to the Nation to come up with a better slogan. And the winner gets the first T free??

It's a play on a quote from "Old School"
Of course, the actual quote itself was uttered by a trOJan (Will Ferrell). Do with that information what you will…
I like the initiative being taken here though

Good pull
I didn’t pick up on the Old School Reference. I went back and looked at a clip and agree that it is pretty f-ing hillarious.

Hit the nail on the head!
Also, the price point can’t be beat.
Personally I would like to see the LA Times ad turned into a T-shirt.

Old School
I do like it because I can hear the original quote in my head and it makes me LAUGH every time.

Neu-C-L-A?
Love the Old School reference, and the hint of irony coming from a ’SC alum (Will Ferrell). Although the picture on the T-Shirt looks like he has a beard.

Thanks!
Thanks for all the feedback guys!
One thing I’d like to know from you all is: Does the image make Neuheisel look like he has a beard to anyone else? Was anyone else turned off by the color? It was the closest I could get to the color of my old den shirt which is really the color that you will see on television. I am really big on color uniformity within the Nation.
Here is what I am planning on doing: Since I have never dealt with this company before, I will be putting in an order for as many as possible to hit the $10 price point. If when these shirts come they are up to my standards (I am kind of picky), I will go ahead with the hawking of my shirt within the Bruins Nation (on and offline).
If you want to be one of the brave few to purchase a shirt from the initial run, please don’t hesitate to PM me! I also like MexiBruin’s idea to turn the LA Times ad into a shirt somehow. Perhaps I shall retire to my lab…
Again thanks for all the feedback! I know alot of people love that line from the movie and I thought, hey why not if it rhymes and I’d like to think of Neuheisel as my boy!

Also in favor of the newspaper ad tee
Maybe adding a small bruinsnation.com icon on the sleeve or on the back right under the neck.

I'd advise against that ...
because there are copyright issues involved here.
No … we don’t have a problem with it … however UCLA officials might have objections. They are not always a lot of fun.

I'm not sure but...
a friend of mine plays on the club lacrosse team and they always have their sweatshirts made with the word “bruins” instead of “UCLA” because it’s a hassel to get around the copyright issue. She said “bruins” isn’t copyrighted. All this is just what I’ve been told, but if you’re still interested, you could look into it and see if it’s a possibility.

yes!
looks great! id definitely get one. only thing i would change is making the “you’re” and “my boy” be the same width as “NEU!”, so each line has a uniform width. Otherwise great!

Great Work!
You are using the same website as me as well! Coincidentally, I also made a monopoly shirt but with a different color:
Are you also using the threshold tool to convert the image? How does everyone like this color?

Also
I made another version of the shirt with a yellow graphic, which a buddy of mine told me was way too light:

The blue looks a little to dark
maybe it’s just the picture, but it looks too dark to me. If you can do it in true blue I’ll take 1 off the first run.

The first one
Included in the fanshot. I already have a “you’re my boy blue” shirt so how could I not have this one if you decide to make them.

Ha!
Of course everyone loves Old School (which by the way was filmed at UCLA)! Still, most people are of the opinion that the first shirt I designed is too light a shade of blue. I think I will be putting in an order on this color. I will display the proof of the final design to everyone once the order is in.
