your anti-$C votes needed!
ESPN is running a contest to vote for "your favorite college band." For some reason, they aren't including The Solid Gold Sound of the UCLA Bruin Marching Band (disclosure: I'm a proud former UCLA band member!). The $C "band" is somehow featured with six others. Go vote against $C! I don't have any particular recommendation, just not $C. You can vote once every day.

Georgia
I voted for Georgia for no particular reason. As far as I can tell, the stupid site doesn’t give you a running tab of the results. It would be nice to stuff the ballot box for someone other than SUC.

Georgia
Georgia has the best fight song in the country. That is, other than ours.

If we are to make a difference
we should all vote for the same school. I’ll be voting for Texas for the same reasons uclafan11 did.

Allies in Texas
I posted this at BurntOrange Nation. We likely have a very common goal.

Honestly
I don’t understand how $c got into this in the first place??? Those never-ending nauseating songs? Gross.

And they don't play particularly well.
They’re sort of tinny. One would think that they would become adept at playing the only two songs they know, but no, they can’t do it. Well, that’s justsc.

You're being kind
in referring to them as “songs.”
My term of choice is “dirges.” And, that’s only because there’s no noun that I know of that means “sounds that make you want take sledge hammers, or worse, to speakers, or worse.”
“Annoying” is just way too timid a word to describe the sensation of hearing the same dreck over and over and over and over and over again.

George Lucas went to sc. I don’t think it was ever possible for us to win.

Argh
As a former member of the Solid Gold Sound myself, I’ll tell you there was nothing worse than having to listen to anything their “band” played. I still cringe thinking about it.

Geez...
U$C even has to announce themselves before their performance!!! Coincidently, the band was thinking of doing a Summer Movies show which would have included the Indiana Jones theme, but John Williams" publisher would not give us permission to arrange the Raiders theme!!??!!
