FIDO
(The polite version, "Forget It, Drive On")
Norm Chow was interviewed Tuesday by the guys (Vic "the Brick" and Steve Hartman) at AM570KLAC radio. (audio link) Among other things, Chow was asked about the first half struggles during Monday's win over Tennessee. His response (FIDO) is something we will need to heed, especially during this season. Of course, we all enjoyed the unexpected win on Monday. However, there will be setbacks this season. But, in contrast to previous seasons, we now have the proven coaching leadership that will take accountability (note that Chow took the blame for the call that led to the interception returned for touchdown), make corrections as needed, and infuse our players with relentless optimism. We saw all of that in just one game this season. So, when the inevitable setbacks occur this season, and the bandwagoners jump off, the intelligent and true blue Bruin fan will confidently say, FIDO!
Here's to more moments like this:
Visit the AM570KLAC podcast site for more interviews. There's a couple with CRN and one with Matt Stevens. They are a great listen.

Thanks for the link.
Exactly. Where last season the blame would have been left with the players, NC steps up and says I made the wrong call taking any pressure off the players. I also loved hearing how united our coaching staff is and how offense and defense are working in harmony and have each other’s back.
