Here's a couple of segments from FSN's "In My Own Words" program on Rick Neuheisel broadcast before the start of the season.
Neuheisel talks about his interview with Dan Guerrero, addressing the trust issue. I gotta believe that "Slick Rick" will never reappear. Next up, Rick talks about convincing Norm Chow to join his staff. Rick's a funny guy and I loved to hear the part about Chow's fire. Defining success for UCLA football. Lastly, a look to the past. CRN got food poisoning the night before becoming the star in the 1984 Rose Bowl game.
Neuheisel is the comeback kid and seems uniquely suited to bring UCLA Football back to where it belongs. The Neu Era is upon us, christened appropriately with an unexpected comeback win this past Monday.
