Don't see him anywhere on the depth chart

I saw him

on the sidelines against UT but he was not suited up. Maybe they are thinking of redshirting him? With this team and the injury bug we can’t seem to shake, hopefully he will be available!

He's likely to redshirt

you don’t want to give him a few carries now (and a few is all he’d get as the 4th RB) and then have him go back to the practice squad when Kahlil comes back. Then it’s something like 5 carries for a wasted year. It’s better to redshirt him.

I agree with Rye, but we’ll see how the year goes. Moline is not exactly a huge producer and with Bell out things open up a bit. Knox looked great at the few practices I went to this summer.

thunder & lightning

i was hoping to see thunder & lightning (dean & knox). oh well. next year. but i’m surprised that as highly touted as raymond carter was out of high school, he ends up 3rd on the depth chart behind moline. i guess if bell is going to be out, a 1-2 punch of moline and carter wouldn’t be bad.

check that: carter is now #2 on the depth chart. lets hope he’s durable enough.

I think Moline being ahead of Carter

has a lot to do with our offensive line. Moline did an exceptional job blocking versus Tennessee and while Carter wasn’t poor, he wasn’t very good. If we had a good o-line we wouldn’t need a back who could protect well, but that’s not the case so Moline is the guy.
