Bruins Basketball With a Weekend Sweep over justsc
The ladies started off things with a great win at home against the trojie women. After gaining a 40-34 advantage at the half, the Bruin women would get behind early in the second half. However, a three-pointer by Allison Taka got us back even at 45-all. From there, the teams would battle back and forth until a 16-4 run by the Bruins put justsc away for Nikki Caldwell's first win over the trojies.

On the men's side, not sure, but it seems like when we play the trojies, we make it too big of a thing. Seems to me our players get a little too amped up. We start forgetting fundamentals like boxing out and then we try to beat them on athleticism alone. Then CBH calms us down and we get the job done.
Men's first half highlights - JH, the star, with 11 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 assists in the half.
Second half highlights - Dragovic has a career high night, scoring 9 of his 14 points in the second half.

I've said it before...
But, with your contributions Tele, Bruins Nation is the complete package. The only thing better than the coverage and commentary on this site would be being able to watch games live and then join in the discussion! …sigh.
On behalf of the “Bruins in exile” I thank you once again sir.

Thanks for your kind words
Always glad that our “exiled” Bruins are able to get a little bit of what we locals take for granted.
Props as always to Nestor who runs the site and all the site managers, authors, and contributors. It’s just all part of our great Bruin family!

Solutions for Exiles
Irishbruin, have you tried the Internet feeds like Justin.tv? I’ve had to use them, a couple of times when the games didn’t get to Texas. I simply opened up 2 browser windows, watched the game on one and participated in the thread on the other.
Another partial solution, though not ideal is to let us know that you have no feed and we, in the thread will give more detailed comments.
Finally, the big solution — SlingBox. I’ve got one and am thinking of getting another to put on my Mom’s system in LA. Right now, no matter where I am, I can get all the stuff that my Texas cable company gets. I figure that with one on my Mom’s TV, I’ll not miss anything. The SlingBox will work IF you have a high speed connection to your computer.
One of the words things about living in Exile is having some difficulty seeing UCLA sports.
One of the best things about living in Exile is not being tempted to read the fishwrap.

Not especially bothered
It never seemed that long at the game, and when they’re more than 30 secs apart, they don’t build up on each other like they do in the highlight reel.
