Another great article on our Prince.
I never get tired of reading about Luc and how well he has done for himself. It is a testament on how far DEFENSE can take you.

I especially liked this passage.
"The one great thing going for him is he's a very good individual defender," Skiles told SI.com before a recent Bucks' game at Minnesota. "Often times, rookies, what they struggle with, is picking up some of the concepts and schemes and individual defense. So he's got the one thing that he's very, very good at.
"He's very good laterally. He's got good length. He uses his hands well on defense. He's not afraid to use the core of his body to body people up. He fronts people in the low post -- he doesn't just let people catch it where they want to, he'll get people off their spots. There's an awful lot there to be excited about going forward, on the defensive end."
Congratulations Luc! Here is hoping that you make the Rookie team for the all-star break.
This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of BruinsNation's (BN) editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of BN's editors.

Yet another player CBH picked from "obscurity"
Not much fanfare for either him or Russell coming out of high school. Then CBH got a hold of them. And look at them now…
Those first two sentences, btw, also apply to DC. So, any NBA teams out there want to take a “chance” on Collison?

Couldn't agree more
DC will have the same fate as LRMAM had. The espn analysts will say he is too small and still has a funny jump shot and he has missed 4 free throws this year, yadayadayada. A player who brings defense and good decision making will find a place in the NBA and will be very successful.
It is funny because I remember in a pre-draft chat session that IIRC Andy Katz had and he responded to a question about LRMAM and said effectively “yes he is an above average defender, but that likely wont be enough for him.” At the time, LRMAM was projected as a late late second rounder. It is a good thing that this draft class was so deep or a lot of GMs would look pretty silly for passing up on him.

No Surprise To Us, Anyway
A solid, strong, hard-working defender.
So proud of him.
