Utah is clearly a hot team right now, and wouldn’t likely be able to steal a recruit from UCLA otherwise, but it seems that if he had a chance to get back in Westwood he’d forget about Salt Lake City. On the other hand, getting early verbals seems to build momentum during the recruiting period.
