Ben Ball Warriors Move Up Two Spots In Both Polls
For those keeping track UCLA moved up two spots in both AP and ESPN polls this week. We moved up to number 7 in ESPN/USA Today Coach's Poll and number 10 in the AP Poll. Pittsburgh Panthers, coached by former Howland lead assistant Jamie Dixon (who just might CBH's heir apparent in Westwood some day) moved up the number 1 spot in both polls thanks to BC's upset of UNC on Sunday night. Anyway, as we have maintained at least for now Bruins should stay locked in on their next opponent and not worry about these polls. If we take care of business one game at a time, we are going to be doing just fine in March. GO BRUINS.

Give me a Pac 10 title, top 3 seed and stay out west
and we can be ranked 347 for all I care. When I looked at the schedule I saw a tough first 7 games and figured if we could go 5-2 in those 7 we’d be in the driver’s seat for the conference crown. Now we’re 2-0 and looking good, but a loss Sunday and all of a sudden we can be playing catch up so let’s take care of business versus SC.
Ditto to all that
SUC will not be a cakewalk. Gibson is a big-time player and we need to prevent him from having a monster game.
Right now, SC is inconsistent but they play well at times.
Did you notice that UNC still got some votes for number 1?
That’s a hard core UNC fan voting, for sure.
That is a joke
Polls don’t mean sh*t at this stage, but still—they lost. At home. They deserved to be knocked down a couple pegs.
their blog is a joke
I looked at their SB nation blog and it’s almost a ghost town, one person writing, perhaps 15-20 coments in the articles on the first page.
Well at least I can talk to my sister about it (she’s a Berkley/UNC alum).
