I was JUST watching this
and I was laughing as Trebek read the “answer” and my mouth just fell to the floor when he got it wrong. Looks like Soledad O’Brien next to him and she was just as shocked.
I wish I saw more of that category, I think a lot of BN’ers here could have cleaned up in that category!
In fairness to Kareem
He most likely rushed to answer too quickly because it as him who uttered those phrases on screen in the movie Airplane. Here is the clip (watch it around 5:30 mark). This is much to do about nothing.

Yeah, Cap jumped at the answer without reading the question. Good that he could laugh about it, esp as we know how intelligent and thoughful Kareem really is. Plus, he is dominating Soledad O’Brien, who is much hotter, though much shorter, than he is. Seems that with her job, she should have a better knowledge base – though the questions may not have been really tailored to her.

It's a reasonable gaffe.. i could totally see myself doing this.
I once accidentally introduced myself by my boss’s name at a meeting (our names are similar).
Still, absolutely hillarious!
