SEC Officials Suspended: Is the Pac-10 Watching?
SEC commissioner Mike Slive has removed the officiating crew from Saturday's Arkansas at Florida football game from its next scheduled assignment on Oct. 31.
"A series of calls that have occurred during the last several weeks have not been to the standard that we expect from our officiating crews," said Slive. "I believe our officiating program is the best in the country, however, there are times when these actions must be taken."
This is the type of accountability the Pac-10 needs to show. Missed calls are a part of the game and the officials are only human. They won't be perfect and that is okay, but the refs need to do an adequate job and that does not happen with regularity in the Pac-10.

This was the same officiating crew
that called the LSU-UGA game as well. Frankly, they should never be allowed to officiate in the SEC ever again. They are just atrocious.

On the bright side, they’re still better than Pac-10 refs…

Coaches
lose jobs because of wins and losses. Shouldn’t crappy refs be suspended and ultimately terminated if they continue to fail at their jobs?
And yeah, that penalty on AJ Green for the alleged excessive celebration was beyond retarded.
