AA: Mr. Court Marshall
Great article in the Denver Post today on AA. You gotta read the compliments the Nugget players and brass have for Afflalo - not that that surprises any of us., of course.

He didn't play very well last night
Tuned into the game hoping to see some Farmar v Afflalo but there wasn’t much. For what it’s worth though, despite the results, AA does look a lot more comfortable out there on the court than he did a couple of years ago.

Nothing but class
I ran into him this summer oustide of Pauley and told him that I’m a big fan and that I hope he does well as I was passing by and he responded with total class. He’s got to my favorite Bruin in the Howland era.

Good read.
hmmm. Works hard, very high basketball IQ, ahead of the curve, it seems I keep hearing these things about Howland’s players. Can’t imagine why that would be.

Would LOVE to see him in the Purple & Gold.
I love JF, but I’m afraid he’s not the best fit for a triangle squad, and I’m disappointed in his defensive lapses.
If Shannon Brown (former Mich. St. Spartan) can step in as the uber-athletic heir apparent to DFish, I think the Lakers would have LOVED to have a 6-5, defensive minded guard who can hit the open trey like AA. Who knows? Maybe down the line, when AA is an urnestricted free agent, he can be had for a steal price…
