Randall Carroll will not be punished for the Twitter incident
According to Jon Gold, Carroll will not be punished for the contents of his controversial Twitter post. Coach Rick Neuheisel called it an "oversight with respect to the technology."

Man, the "technology" issue didn't sink in w/ the team

Turning Outward Instead of Turning Inward
One of the downsides of this technology is that it appears that some of our players are looking for validation from their friends instead of looking inward to correct their errors.
Neither of the tweets we’ve seen bode well for the concepts of team and unity.
These kids remind me of rock stars who trust their friends and posses and don’t quite get it that the hanger on’s will never give them honest feedback or criticism.
