Oregon State home coming graphic comes from our friends at Building The Dam.
Just exactly how scary is it going to be for our Bruins when they walk into the Valley of Reser? Well you can discuss that and the general state of our football program with ryebreadaz and ucla13_usc9 tonight when they host the weekly BN podcast at 6 pm PST.
To call in, dial (724) 444-7444 and when prompted, enter the entry code 65238. Give those guys a call and share with rest of BN what do you think about UCLA's chances this weekend or general thoughts on our team.
GO BRUINS.

I would say that most OSU fans aren’t quick to write off Ucla as a dangerous team. You guys have been so Jekyll and Hyde this year that if you bring your UO game, we’ll smoke you and if you bring your Tenn. game, it’ll be a battle.
As a Beav, I’m nervous. I’m hoping there’s no let down after we took SC to the final possession. GO BEAVERS.

For us
It’s a matter of losing or getting blown out. A win is a stretch none the less

I'd be willing to argue
That our UO game and Tennessee game are the same thing with different results due to the strength of the competition. You have little to worry about.

Home teams usually schedule . . .
an easy victory for Homecoming . . . I hope our Bruins take that as an insult.

I'm guessing the Cougs had a full dance card then.
UCLA for homecoming is an odd choice. I can think of at least one other team I’d rather play…

Well
San Diego Southern Technical Institute could be a possible homecoming game

When do we get to
play them in the round robin? I hope it’s soon…

6 games? The PAC 10 is overrated anyways haha

You and your facts...
Sorry, I was trying to bend reality so that I could be nice about your struggles this year.
I’m still waiting for UCLA to turn the corner, and then all I can do is bitch about how you guys weren’t any good a while back.

The UO game was incredibly unlucky.
That second half just unraveled for you guys on so many levels.
by ArbyOSU on Oct 28, 2009 3:50 PM PDT up reply actions 0 recs
I disagree
mainly because we still scored 0 offensive touchdowns. It really wouldn’t have taken much for Oregon to take a lead following a 3-0 first half score.

Coming away from that 4th and goal empty handed killed you guys, not to mention many, many miscues.
Luck probably had less to do with it than I previously said but still, it was a close half of football that came apart in less than a minute.
by ArbyOSU on Oct 28, 2009 4:05 PM PDT up reply actions 0 recs
Yeah
That one minute has become emblematic of our season as a whole.
It seems unlucky on the surface but really represents all that is currently wrong with this football team (bad quarterbacking, bad pass blocking, costly turnovers, and poor kick coverage). Actually you might have to throw in poor route running, an inability to catch the rare accurate 15-20 yard passes, and a struggling run defense to the cauldron (halloween reference, like it?) of problems with the ’09 Bruins.

Cal scheduled USC for their homecoming. I don’t believe they thought it was an easy game.
Go Bruins!

If you’d like to call in as well as give us some insight into OSU and some of the things you expect to see on Saturday or even just some insight into the atmosphere or something, please do. We’d like to hear all thoughts and opinions, even from Beaver fans.
