So what should the penalty be?
Not Bryant’s penalty. Osburn deserves exactly the same penalty, because he is guilty of exactly the same offense as Bryant. When he says that “NCAA rules are applied equally,” he is obviously not telling the truth. So what’s his penalty?

What Bryant should have done
was immediately announce his intentions to transfer to Fig Tech. Then, the NCAA would have backed off. Kind of like requesting sanctuary from a church or political asylum. The NCAA needs to get their act together. Either universally enforce the rules or not. None of this selective treatment crap.

Yeah, NCAA is a joke. So overwhelmed by the legal department of some schools. Oklahoma St needed to prep their player better. Not sure who gave the kid advice.
