My Favorite Teams, the UCLA Bruins and . . .

... Whoever is playing justsc.
A huge thank you to the Oregon Ducks for their manhandling of the toejams on Saturday. Though disappointed by our Bruins' loss, but a little encouraged by signs of life from our team in the fourth quarter, I settled down to watch the toejams get dominated in every way. I hope our team will make progress toward the things I witnessed: a savvy QB adjusting and executing on the fly, receivers with sticky fingers getting space and YACs, running backs skating through holes and big defensive stops. Of course, best of all were the dumbfounded looks on the faces of the defeated.
Here's a Halloween video tribute to you Ducks and treat for you Bruins who relish a real Halloween massacre.
This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of BruinsNation's (BN) editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of BN's editors.

As Always, Carroll a Class(less) Act
Cheatie once again showed that he is only classy after he wins. Chip Kelly ran over to talk to him after the game and Cheatie completely shunned him. Kelly was clearly trying to talk to Cheatie and Cheatie kept turning his head, trying to pull away. Sorry if somebody already mentioned this but I did not read the threads.
Getting shalacked on national tv could not have happened to a nicer group of people.

I still cannot believe it
Did he really run for the tunnel without shaking hands with Kelly?

I saw this in the threads. Not defending Petey, but
if you look carefully at about 1:10 in the video in this post, it looks like Kelly extends his hand and they look to be shaking hands as Kelly pats Petey on the back. Clearly, Petey wanted to make it brief, while Kelly pulled him close to say something in his hear. So, I’m not sure where the claim came from that Petey just ran for the tunnel.

I’m sure it was a lot more difficult to go up and have a meaningful on-field handshake when the field is being mobbed.

If anyone has that youtube clip . .
. . please post. I’d like to see Cheatie be a poor loser!

And so the Trojan Pac-10 Empire finally falls
Their reign of terror lasted almost a full decade, but it’s over now. I hope Oregon fans can handle Pac-10 supremacy a lot better than SUC fans. And, of course, let’s hope we’ll be the ones to knock them from their pedestal when the right time comes (“right time” = “Prince starts playing entire games like he played the second half of the OSU game”).

I'm not sure SC is going anywhere in the near future
but it sure is nice this year!
William Doolittle at your service, a.k.a. will do.

Sorry
Kind of hard for me to get excited about $C losing when we’re 0-4 in the PAC-10

Do you hear that?
It’s the sound of Trojans falling from their prima dona pinacle. Thank you Ducks! It was great to see PC eat humble pie during an interview. I do believe this is the beginning of the end of SUC dominance in the PAC 10. Maybe this will slow down all the Sports Center hacks that droll at the mere mention of SC. Their image is now tarnished. Sure, they will probably come back and beat up on whoever is their next home game. But, thank God they will not be mentioned for the national title again this year and very likely not be in the Rose Bowl game. This alone is reason to celebrate. Tuck the Frojans!

Paul Hackett never lost by 27
just to put things in perspective…
Anybody paying attention can see that while the talent has remained even, the post 2005 versions of the trOJans have never played up to their abilities.

Great job, Tele
It is perfectly acceptable to enjoy $C’s fall from grace and it also nice to see that the LAT has no one to fellate in today’s paper, for a change.

The Burning Question for this post-Halloween is . . .
. . . Did Mephistopholes show up in the tunnel to pick up Cheatey’s soul, now that “the bargain had run its course?” It was, after all, Halloween Night? Bwahahahaha!
Don’t worry, Still think the ducks suck, too! Even our tattered Bruins played ’em tougher than the trOJans did! On to better and better things . . .
