Big day for Bruins in the NFL
Apologies - apparently I can't embed video from NFL.com, so I'll have to post links to the highlights...
Maurice Jones-Drew had 79 and 80-yard touchdown runs for the Jacksonville Jaguars today:
Maurice Jones-Drew 80 Yard Run
Maurice Jones-Drew 79 Yard Run
And, oh yeah - Spencer Havner, former Bruin linebacker, had 2 touchdown receptions as a tight end for the Green Bay Packers!
This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of BruinsNation's (BN) editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of BN's editors.

Spencer's TDs
You could hear the pride in Aikman’s voice after that second td. His broadcasting partner was talking up the Bruins (at the end of 3rd quarter). Great day for Spencer but too bad for him his team was playing against a living legend.
MJD just keeps on trucking. Btw MJD’s former rb coach Eric B (only KD hire I ever really liked) is doing a great job as the) coach for the Vikings. It’d be awesome if we could somehow lure back to Westwood.

maybe when Norm retires...

Interesting you bring him up
He came in as a RB coach right? Why not have him come back to eventually take over for norm when he gets off his padawan’s back? Lol
He’s also a great recruiter… if you consider MJD, ML, DO good recruits
There's no one in the world that wants to beat UCLA more than _______.

UNBELIEVABLE! HEART. BREAK. CITY.
I can’t hear Gus Johnson’s voice anymore without hearing those words in my head right alongside them.
You see MJD with that explosiveness, that game breaking speed, his ability to bust through tackles, and is there really any doubt as to why our offense used to be a lot better? He and Marcedes are living proof that this regime started with nothing compared to the last one.
You can tell that Aikman talks up UCLA at every opportunity even when he’s off the air, because everyone there knew that he was about to name drop the Bruins when Havner caught that first TD pass.

the wonder that is Jack Del Rio
gives MJD the ball 8!! times. I follow Jacksonville pretty closely with MJD and Marcedes on the roster; plus i have MJD and Sims-Walker on my fantasy team. Del Rio is doing one of the worst coaching jobs in the NFL this year. Wouldn’t be surprised if he’s gone when the season’s over. I’m sorry, but you can’t give a top 5 NFL back 8 carries in a game. Unacceptable.
Has there ever been a player better than Detlef Schrempf?
