Tripping To The Palouse, Football Podcast Open Thread
We get to discuss a win! It's been a long time coming for us, but it will be fun to discuss a Bruin victory for a change. Beginning at 7 pm PST, Josh and I will review the Washington game by taking a look at some of the players who have stepped up, what has changed in the offensive play calling in the previous five quarters, as well as what Chuck Bullough did differently at the end of last week's game. Then, we'll bring Nuss from CougCenter to preview the Cougars and what we should expect on Saturday.
Make sure you tune in at 7 pm PST too to catch the opening because I'm going to review the search for a coach from two years ago that landed us CRN.
We'll also take any calls you have. You just need to follow these four steps:
1) Call (724) 444-7444
2) Enter the Call ID 65238 and press # afterward
3) When asked for your PIN, press 1#
4) Talk to us!
We want to hear your thoughts on the team and program, as well as what you think about Saturday's game against Washington St. Do you have questions? Call in and ask them. You can also use this thread to question and comment and we'll keep an eye on this to work it into the show. As always, you can listen live by clicking play above or you can listen afterward by clicking play or by checking out iTunes.

I've gotta figure out how to work recruiting in
without spending 30 minutes on it because knowing me, I would. Also, doing it without bringing up things I can’t share is an issue. We’ll work it in somewhere though. We can’t not!

I haven't had the chance to listen in yet
Really interested in hearing more from Nuss on his general outlook Paul W. There was a great post on CC about the topic this week.
We haven't gotten started yet
Not getting it going until 7, but we’ll definitely ask about the general view of the program.

Let's ask Nuss about Cougars' secondary
They have been banged up heading into Sat. Would love to hear his insight on who will be lining up.
Also, if he has any updates on starting QB (health issue re. Tuel) that would be great.
Already on the list of Q's

Ha
They think they can stop BP lol
There's no one in the world that wants to beat UCLA more than _______.
Where did they say that?
If he can somehow figure out how to stop BP as a key is far from thinking that they can stop him.

Reading through it again
Don’t see anything remote close that makes the point that they will stop BP. Aspiring to stop him and thinking they can and need to get it done to win the game seems pretty reasonable to me.
Nuss and his CougCenter colleagues
Are amazing bloggers and the kind of dedication they show for their team … I find that pretty inspiring. Just another one of those things that makes college sports so special.
Awwwww
You make us blush. We’re just trying to keep ourselves reasonably entertained until basketball. And it’s really all about the community, anyway — that’s what makes it fun.
Yeah, CRN and Co. are doing one heck of a job
