Cody was one of the few college players in the rookie league and certainly one of the few guys who played four years of college ball. The rookie league is a place few college players go. He had a huge year, but the competition wasn’t really fair. We’ll get a real idea as to how promising his pro career is next year when hopefully he can parlay a good spring into a spot in high-A ball. I’m really rooting for him because he is as good a guy as UCLA has had.
