UPDATE: Rivalry Game Ticket Thread
Alright guys. It's time for the City Championship game and this one's not at the Rose Bowl. We have to head to the Coliseum and especially after the dreadful support for our Bruins last game, it's time to step it up and do what we can to put as many UCLA fans in the Coliseum.
Consider this your UCLA-USC game ticket thread. Have extra tickets you want in the hands of Bruins? Are you searching for a ticket or some Bruin fans to go with? Anything related to putting as much blue and gold in the stadium on Saturday goes on right here.
UPDATE: Tickets for the game are NOT sold out. You can still buy them at face value from USC. Just click here and you can secure your spot at the Coliseum. Come on guys. Here's your chance to put some more blue and gold in those seats and experience one of college football's greatest rivalries.
This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of BruinsNation's (BN) editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of BN's editors.

Bruins Nation, please help a bruinchick...
I was about to buy tickets online when a certain husband of mine informed me he has to work (he’s a Cal grad, so I can’t always expect him to have his priorities straight). I’m in the SF Valley and can carpool if it works out. Oh, and if you’re tailgating, I’ll contribute food, beer, or whatever…. :-)
GO BRUINS!!!
Boy, was that vague, or what...?
Let’s try again, with me being a little more specific: bruinchick needs a seat (yes, I can pay for it!), but wants to go with other blue and gold people and will be happy to contribute to transportation and/or festivities. Unaccompanied bruinchicks in the Mausoleum are probably a disaster waiting to happen.
And thanks, Ryan, for posting this…

Looking to score tickets
I’m making a trip from NorCal to L.A. this upcoming weekend for Thanksgiving and I’m looking to score tickets to the game. Although, knowing my impatience, I’ll probably get them off StubHub or Craigslist by the time someone has some available on here. Maybe I can swipe some trOJan tickets and deprive them of two red shirts and replace it with two blue shirts.
GO BRUINS!
I've got 2 tickets for sale.
They are in the UCLA section, section 2. Face value, $80 each.

U-C-LLLLLLLLL-A
I’ve never been to a college game (besides working for Rose Bowl.) How much do tickets range from, even the very high seats? Would there be a huge difference in price when its a rivalry game?
This is refering to both the Rose Bowl and Collesium.
Face value for rivalry game > higher than normal games, but I believe all seats have the same price
Availability is limited, of course, while good/bad seats vary depending upon access (for home games at least, season ticket holders/donors get the better seats). Last I recall, rivalry game @Rose Bowl was around $70/each. Not sure about the Coliseum.
Can you give me:
where the UCLA sections and rival sections are in the Rose Bowl and also the visitor (UCLA) section is in the collesium? I dont want to be sitting in the wrong section…
I'm in the same boat
I want to be sitting amongst my Bruin brothers and sisters, not with a bunch of trOJan douches.

I'm sitting with them
but I’m not going to shower or shave all week.
I'm in section 1 and I was an early pickup time...
I’m pretty sure they try and cram the UCLA section into the far sections as one part of the stadium is much further from the field that the other.
UCLA section
Students are separate but the UCLA section is in the end zone area where section 15 is. Anything in that area should be away from the weasels in mustard and ketchup.

I'm pretty sure the alumni/student section
is all in Section 1 & 2 now. They re-jiggered the seating arrangements at USC a couple of years back (basically, screwing the USC students) and placed the BAND in that endzone section. I don’t think I’ll ever get over laughing at that. USC’s one of the few schools that’s actually banished their own freakin’ band to the endzone – basically telling the students, “Yeah, you’re not paying enough for your seats, so off to the endzone with you!”
I guess it’s a good lesson to learn, what with going to USC and all.
my student ticket is in section 2...
which is pretty much a b**** seat at the coliseum, so i’m assuming around there is where the ucla section would be. i’ll be there of course with the victory lemonade in hand (the victory lemonade guy told me he would be outside of section 9).

Can't find any Bruins hardcore enough to head into enemy territory with me.
I’m asking around… maybe us one-off stragglers can join forces.
hmm
is there a way for us to private message? At the least, I can get tickets for some of us here in the same seating vicinity. my friend says that his wife + few of her friends are planning to go, so our group is growing.
I have a +2 on the fence as well.
I live in Pasadena, haven’t looked at ticket prices or sections yet, but I’d like to avoid being around the H1N1 trOJans. tailgating may be in the works as well.
My only concern is that the last time I was there...
… and with a good buddy who has musculo-neurological condition that impedes his movements, people were throwing coins/ bottle caps/ small metal-sounding times at our car as we were leaving the parking lot.
I also saw guys into their 20s cursing out senior Bruin fans decked out in their classic UCLA sweaters and hats — and they were generally harassing them DURING the game. Absolutely no darn class whatsoever.
Still weighing my options here. Ms. M won’t go, and will not let me bring the kids (I agree) but I have an urge to roll into the Coliseum parking lot in my royal blue PT cruiser with the UCLA dice in the mirror and get me some freaking payback…

I was thinking about this
I was at the RB in 2006 (13-9 YEA!), and had thugs throwing stuff at my car getting off the freeway. One thing I’m considering is bringing the “dog” car, which is an older, ugly Camry. It’s comfortable and runs great, but I leave it parked on the street so I don’t bother with bodywork when someone dings it. Might be perfect for this.
GO BRUINS!!!
Why not just rent a car
for liek 30 dollers, pay for insurance, move all your UCLA stuff in that car, drive around there, then when your done, drive the shit out of it and return it!
ya
They are paper tickets and they dont check id at the stadium

Is anyone going
and sitting in the USC section?? That’s where my ticket is and that’s where I’ll be… causing havoc amongst those bastards.

you are a brave man
i wish i can man it out and sit in a usc section.

I think I'm also going solo
I know 2 other guys who are going to sit in the student section, but we didn’t claim our ticket together so we’ll be in separate seats.
I also heard bad stories about driving and parking there. Might take the bus from Westwood.
My seat is in section 1. I’ll check the section once I get home.
Another option? (not sure if this is still available)
My last time going to the Coliseum for the rivalry game (2003), my roommate and I were able to park at Staples Center/LACC, and then take a shuttle bus to/from the stadium. Again, I don’t know if this is an option for this weekend’s game, but something worth looking into.
You can do that
I think FSN is hosting some sort of pregame party at LA Live throughout the day and will have shuttles heading to the Coliseum for the game.

I got an email
about the pregame party by the swimming pool(?). I guess FSN is an open pregame while the one on the email is a UCLA party.
2 tickets in UCLA section
I have 2 tickets together in section 14 row 84. I’m so pissed I can’t go to the game anymore because my girlfriend decided to have her birthday dinner on Saturday night. Anyway, I would much rather sell these tickets to some Bruin fans right here because I’m afraid if i put them on ebay or stubhub that some Trojan punk will swipe them. I would like to sell these for face value at $80/ ticket but I will listen to other offers. GO BRUINS

Place to watch game in Maui?
I’ll be on Maui for the game but definately plan on watching the game at the hotel / sports bar or wherever. Anyone know of any places that will be hosting the game in Maui preferably with other Bruin fans?
Might have access to four seats in section 1
If anyone wants in on this, please email me right away. My address is in my profile.
GO BRUINS!!!
Well, looks like all the leads I had on seats have fallen through...
The upside, though, is that it frees me up to perform elaborate sacrificial rites here at home.
