I totally thought the Bears game was today and not Sunday
So I MISSED it! AAGGHHHH!!! I’m a lousy Bears fan.
So proud of Kahlil. He was the Bull of our abckfield, and if he wasn’t injured his last couple of years with us, I really think he could have given us gerhart-like numbers.
You gotta love our Bruins. As Ms. M reminded me on Saturday, they may not always be drafted as high into the NFL as MJD and Marcedes, but have you noticed how many of our guys managed to fight and claw their way on to rosters from low-pick or undrafted status? Guys like Bell, Bryan Fletcher, and Spencer Havner come to mind… Not always drafted, buy our guys DEFINITELY know how to play their way on to rosters.

Even cooler
Kahlil’s parents were there and his Dad – Mr. Mike Bell – was wearing Kahil’s UCLA practice sweat suit while watching the game:
His parents, Mike and Liz, couldn’t believe their son’s good fortune. Mike Bell stood outside the Bears locker room after the game and couldn’t be mistaken for anyone else. He wore his son’s gray UCLA sweatsuit and a huge smile.
“We’re still in shock,” Mike Bell said. “We don’t want to wake up.”
So awesome.
