BN Gameday: Southern Cal Game Thread

UCLA Bruins at USC Trojans, Nov 28, 2009 7:00 PM PST

Here we go. We need Kevin Prince and co. to play the game of their lives and bring back glory in Westwood. The game will kick off in about half an hour. Not sure how the field condition is going to be tonight because there was - get this - 40 percent chance of rain in LA today. Kind of fitting because our first regular season game was taking place with backdrop of fire raging around Pasadena. We have a come a full circle this season. Oh and if you haven't heard by now we are ROCKING those 1967 throwback unis we busted out for homecoming game TONIGHT.

Anyway, time to get this baby going. FSN (Prime Ticket in Los Angeles) will televise the game nationally with (insufferable) Barry Tompkins and Petros Papadakis (who has grown on me last couple of years) in the booth. Michael Eaves is going to hang around the sidelines (he usually doesn't add much to the broadcast).

If you have been living in a cave or are still recovering from Turkey coma and need to cram in some last minute game notes, here is our game coverage. You can keep track of the game online via the official site and also the WWL game page. Here is to finishing our November 4-0.

Fire away. BEAT $C*

GO BRUINS.

Agreed...

this is first rivalry game. He needs to buckle down and play like we’ve seen him play in the last few games.

That hurts but more than likely we'll get one back

Hope Prince doesn’t lock onto anyone like that anymore

by Fauxshow on Nov 28, 2009 7:35 PM PST reply actions

Prince not looking very sharp

A couple of throws due to mix ups and now a telegraphed pick 6. Prince has to keep his composure.

Either way he shouldn’t have thrown that ball, telegraphed or no…I don’t know what he was looking at, nothing fancy about that

Third time it happened

His first incomplete was to no one even close. The last 2 were in the same area, with coverage all over the receivers.

not trying to rag on KC

but that was the type of play he made way too often last year

We had them on the ropes

Great field position. Turnovers are not what we needed. Sigh.
