We caused fear in them, now we have to back it up
After watching the clip over and over...the thugs and their godfather jumping up and down like they just scored the winning TD, it was interesting to see how SUC reacted when our guys stepped up to them...
If you look at body language, our guys were ready to throw down for the disrespect. Our guys went nuts. They had crazy looks in their eyes. Now if you look carefully, none of the thugs stepped up. They all stayed in the sidelines and only kept jumping up and down. I think for once they finally realized that they woke up the BRUINS.
Barkley was the biggest whimp standing on the sidelines smiling but not on the front.
So BRUINS, we instilled fear in the thugs, now we have to back it up. As someone here mentioned, we have 300+ days to think how we can be faster, stronger, more accurate, more disciplined...
If we don't back it up next game, then we'll continue to be Petey's bitch...what's it gonna be?
This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of BruinsNation's (BN) editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of BN's editors.

Saw that too
I noticed the exact same thing after watching it on DVR all morning long. It was clear we crossed midfield, and they barely had the sack o step out past 5-10 yads from their sideline. And did you see that stupid white guy in the track suit with the pony tail? He mouthed “get the fuck outta here” and was acting like a wannabe gangster until cheatey pulled him away… AFTER UCLA players had turned around to return to their own sidelines.
This is and always will be your typical toejam. They did the exact same shit, when me and a few Bruins stepped up to them yesterday after the game at a bar. Walked away silent like bitches, and then acted hard talking shit once they were driving off in their cars.

You know
Whichever way people spin it, the USC coach and his game caller obviously let their immature, playground kids instinct get the better of them the minute they saw Rick calling timeout. With or without that, they knew well their team had UCLA beat, ravaged, vanquished at least until next year.
Those toothy smiles, wide grins of jubilations cannot hide their despicable image of deplorable sportsmanship. One thing they wouldn’t tell you and I. Last night, after all the celebrations and partyings, I bet some of those folks awoke suddenly in the dead of the night. Drenching in their own cold sweats, they literally screamed their lungs out for having done such inexplicably low things on a Division I athletic field.
Bow down, Trojans. You won the game but you lost your soul. What a shame.

White guy w/pony tail
I’m pretty damn sure that was Ayles. One of our LB’s needs to blow his ass up next year.

now, i'm not saying go pick fights with SUCsters...not worth it really...
just saying their players know we’re a little crazy now and we better show them how crazy we are next year…

No, the law of gravity will sink them eventually
if not by our team some day soon.

Has anyone heard of the "bootsie play?"
I talked to a guy who played pro football in the late 40’s and early 50’s, and he described the ’bootsie play." This was a play used when necessary to keep people in line. if, for example, someone sacked the QB and then did a Mark Gastineau dance, the next play might be a bootsie play on that guy. The QB would run a sneak, and the other ten guys would just pound the crap out of the guy who ran his mouth. The play might not generate a lot of yardage, but there was a lot less mouthing off.
It could be that we need to run a bootsie play on Barkley next year. One player (or two or three or four) would be designated to go after him and belt the crap out of him. It would probably be worth about 15 yards, as would the next one and the next, but if the payback is deliivered with enough force and vehemence, maybe only one or two would be needed. And there is the sidelines pass with the receiver just by chance heading directly at Cheatie Petie. One or two of them might work.
I think Coach Chow would be well advised to take a look at the bootsie play.

anyone remember
what happened in that Georgia/Florida game a couple years back? Georgia scored first and the ENTIRE team ran out on the field and celebrated as a means of running it in. If i remember correctly they went on to win that game but every game since Urban Meyer has used that game as motivation for his guys and they run over them every time they can now.
I can definitely see a similar effect on the future of this rivalry..CRN should play back that last minute and motivate our guys whenever possible

I remember too : Revenge is a dish that id best served cold
Some day, if not sooner, we will get them. We will have bonfires right outside the Carrol residences.
I remember how the US expeditionary forces did to flush out Noriega in Panama, when he cowered inside the sanctuary of a Ctholic Church. They played heavy metal music day in and day out.
Well, when that day comes, the UCLA fight song will be everywhere inm his neighborhood.
