Random: Reggie Bush has a framed UCLA jersey in his house
Via Curbed LA, Reggie Bush has put a house in the hills north of the Sunset Strip on the market. It's as tastefully decorated as you could imagine a house owned by a football player with more money than he knows what to do with being (still, amazing views). But check out the photo of the framed jerseys he has hanging by the staircase (the bottom left photo in the first set on the Redfin listing). Yes, that's a UCLA jersey. Any guesses which Bruin that Reggie chose to honor in his own house (along with the player's pro jersey)?
So alright, it wasn't someone that Reggie went up against, but still--it's a legend that played for your school's biggest rival, IMHO. What would you think if we found out that Maurice Jones-Drew had a framed Marcus Allen USC jersey in his house (please tell me you don't, MJD!). Fair, because he's a legend that came before his time, or foul, because of who he played for?
Oh, and one more thing: asking almost $400,000 more for a house that you bought in 2007, at the height of the bubble? Good luck, Reggie.

It's probably the
“Kim Kardashian was here” markup.
I think it’s a Troy Aikman jersey. It looks like a Cowboys jersey next to it. They look like they’re in the same frame.

Is an Aikman jersey
He’s got a college/pro motif there.
Peyton Manning’s also there (UT and Colts jersey), and I have no idea who the college/pro Lakers combo is (Lakers jersey is def’ from the 80s, tho). It looks like Kareem as a Lakers jersey, but Kareem wore 33 in college, and the college jersey ain’t a UCLA jersey, and it’s definitely a 32, which eliminates Magic as well, cuz Magic wore 33 at MSU.

I don't think the pattern extends to those
They’re not in the same frame, so the 33 is Kareem’s Lakers jersey (another Bruin he admires either way).
Doesn’t surprise me that Bush feels no particular attachment to SUC. He was literally in it for the money anyway, and now he’s persona non grata around that program due to the investigation.

Could be a different Magic
I don’t think it’s a college jersey. It looks like Shaquille O’Neal’s Orland Magic jersey.

Is this Lloyd Lake's house or Reggue Bush's?
I’m just asking. ha ha

Isn't that the "dorms" he lived in during "School?"
Honestly, the house is gorgeous, but a little over the top in a “Cribs” kind of way. I second Freesia’s guess that it’s a Troy Aikman jersey.
Kudos to for not allowing the rivalry to get in the way of honoring the greats that have played the game. I could never hang a Trojan jersey in my house, but I would have no problem hanging a Ronnie Lott 49ers Jersey, or a Lynn Swann Steelers jersey in my home.

Nice ones
EJ and Mexi.
And yes, it’s a Troy Aikman jersey. I don’t have a problem with him honoring one of the greats, but seeing a UCLA jersey in a USC player’s house is pretty funny.
I love the architecture of the house—how great would it be to wake up in that bedroom looking over LA—but the zebra prints and the RB monograms…oof.

Wilt Chamberlain's house
Way, way back, I came THISSS CLOSE to deposing Wilt Chamberlain at his house on a coverage case involving a roof leak in his super-spectacular house. Alas, the adjuster wondered how well a junior associate would do on that depo and settled the case before I got to do it. I did get to do a whole bunch of depos about a house in Pacific Palisades which had an indoor pool and cantilevered tennis court looking out over the ocean. I was impressed. (That house was renting for a nifty $2,100 a month.)
