Drew Gordon is leaving
Um, perhaps cause I've been too busy with school myself, I didn't know this was happening? But I guess it was something that was in the making for a while. The link to where I saw this story:

Does anyone else know anything about this?! Didn't he transfer TO UCLA, or am I thinking of someone else? A travesty and truly overviews the issues at hand at UCLA
This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of BruinsNation's (BN) editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of BN's editors.

Terrible news
it was clear that he was frustrated with the way things were going this year, but I didn’t think it would lead to this/
He was at UCLA from the start
And word is that this was CBH’s call, not Gordon’s. Sad to see, but perhaps better for our program in the long run. Might as well get all the negative out of the way this season so that there are no distractions next year
damn.
That sucks. He had some solid potential and offensive explosiveness. Also, Drew didn’t transfer here, I don’t think… Maybe you are thinking of BoBo Morgan? He switched from LSU to come here.

Also now it makes a bit more sense that Howland is considering a zone
seeing as how time at center will now be split between Reeves and Bobo (and possibly Keefe)
wow.
Here’s hoping that off-the-court issues are what’s holding the team back, and that they get with the program henceforth.
Is he just leaving because we're losing?
Or is it because he doesn’t agree with Ben’s system in some way?
Geez
This is hard to wrap my mind around right now. He had his moments that frustrated me as a fan but I always hoped he’d mellow out as he became an upperclassmen. I think it’s official now: the youth movement is on.
I don't understand the move on his part
If he rides out this year, he’s still our “best” player and he can enter the draft. He might be a low 2nd round pick, but I’m sure someone would gamble on him.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but by transferring he has to sit out the rest of this year and all of next year, so he won’t play again until 2011 and won’t get into the nba until 2012?
I don't think CBH wanted him to ride out the year
unless he was willing to fix whatever caused him to transfer. If your not going to play as a team, you don’t get to be a part of it. Period
pretty sure he sits out all of this year and through Dec of next

Yup
If he leaves after the quarter, as has been reported, he’ll be eligible as soon as the fall/winter semester/quarter ends wherever he goes next year.
