As many of us expected, Kai Forbath won the Lou Groza Award for being the best collegiate place-kicker. It was great to read about more Bruins being recognized:
Earlier in the day, Forbath was named first-team Walter Camp All-American.
UCLA defensive tackle Brian Price and safety Rahim Moore were named to the second team. Price, a junior, finished third nationally with 22.5 tackles for a loss. Moore, a sophomore, led the nation with nine interceptions.
Only Alabama (six) and Florida (four) had more players named to the teams. Texas also had three. Those three teams were a combined 38-1 this season. UCLA finished 6-6.
Quote is from the fishwrap. I know BN doesn't often provide links to it, but I couldn't find any more comprehensive coverage anywhere online - and I looked. britishbruin already fanshotted a brief article simply telling about Forbath, but nothing else covered all three. I'm amazed by the last paragraph.
