As stated by Coach Rick Neuheisel, "Although we always support the men and women fighting for our country, on this particular three-hour stint, we're going to be anchors aweigh."
GO BRUINS.

I strongly disagree
You see “Anchors Aweigh” is the Navy song or anthem or whatever so by saying today the Bruins are “Anchors Aweigh” we are saying that our gridiron interests are closely aligned with those of the midshipman but rather than describing this confluence of mutual desires, see, Coach spoke in like a metaphorical sense thereby capturing the essence of the moment so as to empower the Bruin Nation—oh I give up, the last phrase makes no sense. And I love him too.

I believe impaulv
was referring to sentence when it read, “Although we always support the men and women fighting for our country, on this particular three-hour stint, we’re going to be anchors aweigh away.” It didn’t make sense and was a typo on my part.
Finally . . .
. . . this game is here. I’ve been waiting for it since shortly after the $UC* game, when it became apparent based on the bowl situation that this one would affect UCLA’s bowl options. I’ll be watching as if it were a UCLA game (this is until UCLA hoops comes on around the 3rd quarter kickoff). Hopefully a fun Saturday for Bruins fans!
Go Navy!
Go Bruins!
Go Toby (for Heisman)!
Go Navy
Ready for some UCLA football in JFK!
