Eff it all...Harbaugh signs extension at Stanford
Arg, Stanford is becoming a thorn in our side. Wish he would have taken the job at KU.

Oh well
It’s clear though that these “rumors” didn’t come out of thin air. Harbaugh is definitely looking. I am not sure how good Stanford is really going to be withour Gerhart. Andrew Luck is a solid QB but could he have achieved the success this year without Toby.
Meanwhile, if RRod doesn’t succeed in Ann Arbor next season … just sayin. Recruits should be taking all of this into consideration before signing for Stanford.
I'm telling you, this is a good thing.
He’s a thorn in Cheay’s side. He’s a challenge for us to overcome on the way to the top.

True, but you can't blame the guy.
Admittedly, a head coaching job in South Bend is a step up in terms of exposure and athletic fanaticism from Stanford. I suppose Kansas is somewhat also higher on the totem-pole, but not nearly as much. You can’t blame Harbaugh for staying in sunny California and keeping a momentous thing going instead of jumping to freezing middle-of-nowhere Kansas.
I wish he was gone, too. But I don’t blame Harbaugh for making the decision he did.
Here’s to UCLA kicking his a** next year and for him to continue their beat-down and humiliation of SUC.
Oh yeah
I have no problem with Harbaugh’s decision. Like MexiB and others I am a huge fan of him for what he did to Chetey. My main take was that having Harbaugh at Kansas or some other program than a Pac-10 one is better for UCLA (provided Stanford doesn’t hire a better coach) in the crucial world of recruiting. That’s all.
yeah but,
You have to go up against if you want to be the best. He is a great recruiter and sure, we may lose some recruits to the Furd, cuz of him, but in the long we can still win the recruiting battles by succeeding on the field.

Harbuagh will be the head coach at Michigan by 2011.
By then (1) the spread option experiment will have failed, (2) NCAA violations will be annouced, and (3) AD Bill Martin (who has had a feud with Harbaugh) will be gone.
2 jobs on the line
If Rodriguez doesn’t produce next year, his ass and Martin’s will be on the line.
I would LOVE Harbaugh at Michigan. I like their program a lot and want to see them kicking the Buckeyes’ butts. I can’t believe they get to go to the Rose Bowl. That team plays the most boring non-KD footbal I’ve ever seen. It’s painful to watch.
But hey, what do I know. I’m just the 800 lbs bruin in the room.
