4 star wide receiver Paul Richardson from Gardena Serra verbally re-committed to UCLA. UCLA now has 17 commitments for the class of 2010.

Hopefully he can pull some strings with George Farmer (?) next year, the real stud on that team. And hopefully he turns out pretty well himself.

to say he didn’t feel right talking to other schools while being committed to UCLA is strong in my opinion, I think he made to right decision to explore his option and I’m glad he settled on UCLA! GO BRUINS!!!

So he states he can run a 4.4 40, but is a good route runner with hands. I’m not trying to doubt he’s a good recruit, but how does the whole star system work? What makes him a four star vs three star?
That's a good question
Since I don’t subscribe to any recruiting sources it’s alway hard to tell how they come to these raking decisions. From what I’ve heard a lot of it has to do with who they are being recruited by and other subjective standards.
