A little revenge on U$C

For those who don't make a habit of following UCLA Rugby, the Bruins played U$C's Rugby squad last night. Both A-side and B-side beat up the $C squads, A-side winning by a score 0f 37-3 and B-side winning by an equally lopsided number. Once the official scores are posted I'll update that, but thought I'd let everyone know.
I'm one of the A-side players, and the club was really psyched up to go out and hand the South Central team a beating. And I'll say it felt really good to do exactly that.

Did you keep up the rugby tradition and drink beers with them all night? That would be pretty hard to do.

Unfortunately...
The $C squads made some excuse about finals or something equally lame and left right after the games. So no, we did not join with them and drink beers. That is not to say that there was no beer drinking done, however.
Yes, we certainly bloodied them a bit. A couple of SC boys had some gnarly gashes and I’m sure they have plenty of bruises this morning.

piling on on those poor SUCsters…well, first of all, did they take a timeout to inspire such a beat down? or maybe look like they were trying to make a comeback? Or what do you do in rugby to say go ahead and give us a beat down? LOL

Amazing what a 5 month old baby does to your life…
Congrats Captain! I was captain of my business school rugby team…which was definitely geared towards the beer drinking, but didn’t lack hard hitting! A fullback I was, sir, and a wing at times.
But hey, what do I know. I’m just the 800 lbs bruin in the room.
